Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains the types of personal data that are collected, how it is stored, handled and kept safe. It also sets out your rights, how to get in contact and how to complain in the event you have a problem or complaint. By providing your personal data, you accept and consent to the practices described throughout this policy. The data controller is Jane Ilott. All personal information will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), May 2018. These regulations require registration with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO). Jane Ilott is registered with the ICO.
Who am I?
I am an independent specialist dyslexia teacher and assessor who advertises services as Coris Dyslexia. I offer diagnostic assessments, tuition and services for pupils, parents and schools.

When information is collected or processed your personal data is regulated by the General Data Protection Regulation, which applies across the European Union (including the United Kingdom) and I am responsible as ‘controller’ or ‘processor’ of that personal information for the purposes of those laws.

Your information is used solely to provide the services that you commission.
Who has access to your personal information?
Your information is only shared with myself, and if requested/permission granted by the parent/carer, the child’s school. Your personal information will not be shared with third parties.

Under UK data protection law, Coris Dyslexia must have a “lawful basis” for collecting and using your personal information.
You have the right to request a copy of all or some of the information that is held about you. To ensure that your personal information is up to date and accurate you have the right to:
